Stephen Harding upcoming interviews and publicity!

7/15/2015

Last night Stephen Harding spoke with Jim Bohannon about the story behind The Last To Die, released on July 14th. The interview lasted about 35 minutes and here is the link to the audio archive: http://www.jimbotalk.net/programhighlights

The interview with Steve comes at about 1 hour and 20 minutes in, and you can fast forward to that spot. One problem, the last 34 minutes of the show is missing. Steve and Da Capo are aware and hope to get the techies at Bohannon's show to fix it and post the entire interview.

Today he spent 2 hours at his home being interviewed by a Japanese station, NHK, the Japanese version of BBC. This interview will be viewed nationwide in Japan in the middle of August, then be available on line and to any cable stations in the US who subscribe to NHK, which is making its way into the US market.

This weekend he has an interview with Milt Rosenberg from Chicago. The show is on line, but I'm not sure about the time of the broadcast. He does however, also have audio archives. Milt's web site is here: http://miltrosenberg.com/about/

And then there's Sirius XM Radio and Maggie Linton coming up! Any of you who subscribe can listen live, the rest of us can pick up the audio archive later.

Lots going on with publicity for this wonderful book about the last person to die in WW2.

The book will be released on July 14th, and that evening he will be the guest of journalist Jim Bohannon from 11:00 pm to midnight. Another anniversary observed and our nation's birthday

7/4/2015

Again we celebrate the birth of our nation and remember the death of a ship and 46 of her men. In a year, the world will know the story of STRONG as the book by Stephen Harding will be released by Da Capo in July of 2016. Our men will be remembered by others, and their story will be told. Lots to celebrate as we continue to remember the sacrifices these men made 72 years ago tonight.

Welcome to the blog!  I'm a life long Kentuckian with a degree in Anthropology, thus a nice background in research, thanks to some great profs at the University of Kentucky.  Family and historical research are what float my boat, and this project has been the heart of it for a very long time now.  I welcome input and ideas for blog entries, so if you have something to contribute I'll happily post it.
